This is the second post in these new series I've started! I'm really excited for them ☺ Today I'm going to talk about portfolios and customer sheets. Let's say this post is about sharing as much information as possible with your clients or future clients.
The first thing I did when I wanted to design for people, is set up a portfolio. You can list prices and write information on your website, but nothing will be as sufficient as putting a portfolio together. Most people won't read the first time they're on your site, so maybe you can persuade them with pictures to make them interested in your work. The more you put on there, the better. It doesn't necessarily need to be work that you've done for a previous client, but also work you did for yourself. For example, I've thrown everything I could find in my portfolio.
I hope you like this post! :) Please share your experiences in the comments! x
In the previous "Being Free(lance)" post I talked about my dreams and future. Read it over here.
