I'm aaalmost done with my retake exams! My last one is on Monday and after that I'll be free! On the 12th of September I'm leaving for NEW YORK! I'm so very excited and I've been making wishlists since I knew we were going there. Today I'm going to share my "beauty wishlist" with you. If you have any suggestions, please leave them in the comments! I normally don't include prices in beauty related posts, but it's just useful to know how much money I'll need! ☺
1. Wet 'n Wild lipstick in Cherry Picking ($1,99)
I don't actually wear bright lipstick/lipgloss in real life, but I think it's a fun thing to do when you're going to dinner with a friend or on family parties, etc. I adore this colour called "Cherry Picking" - it's between a dark red and dark pink and I'm definitely going to pick it up when I'm in New York (also because they're $2 each wooohoo)!
Maybe I'll bring more of course I'll bring more!
2. EOS lip balm ($2,99)
Ever since I've started to watch YouTube beauty videos (four years ago) I've been obsessed with this little ball. It's something that has been on my wishlist since... FOREVER. I know it's possible to order them online, but you pay extra fees for shipping and I once discovered a site where they sold them (and send them to my country) but it was €11, hellooooo...
3. Covergirl Clump Crusher mascara (± $6)
I don't really wear a lot of makeup through the day, although I tend to go "full face" when there's a special occasion. I love to keep it natural looking though. Mascara must be my #1 favourite makeup product ever, because the only time I won't wear it is when I'm having exams and I can't be bothered because I'm already looking very tired, haha! So I'll definitely be spending more on mascaras than foundations etc. This mascara is €12 in our local shop - how unfair is this... You Americans are so lucky with your makeup! ☺
4. L'Oréal Telescopic mascara (± $8)
I've read a lot of reviews on this mascara and it turns out to be amazing so I'm definitely getting this aswell. Here it's about €17 for the Telescopic mascara, what the... It's really unfair, so I'll be stocking up on mascaras yay!
5. Crest 3D White Strips (± $40)
Since whitening products in Belgium do nothing at all to your teeth for "safety reasons" I'm pretty sure I'll be taking these with me. There are a lot of types though, so I don't think I'll be going for the most expensive package because my teeth are already white enough (I think), I'd just like to add a little extra ☺ It's not my intention at all to have snow-white flashy teeth anyway, but definitely my canine teeth need a pick-me-up. Haha I'm actually making it a lot worse than it is, but like I said, my teeth are perfectly normal, I'd just like to add some more white to them (this is a weird sentence).
6. Soap & Glory Hand Food ($12)
My hands are terrible in winter - I wish I was kidding but my hands are the worst!! I remember my best friend Nathalie asking if she could touch them because they were looking so weird and dried out hahaha! I've heard that the scent of this hand cream is great, so maybe I'll have a sniff and see if I want to buy it.
7. Revlon Nearly Naked pressed powder ($7,49)
Revlon is hard to find in my country and when they do have the brand, they probably only sell the basic stuff. I really need a pressed powder to set my foundation when I want to, because I've never owned an actual powder that I really liked. I've heard great things about this one and since I'm fed up with setting my makeup with a terre indienne (which, by the way, makes your skin look tanned and that's not an effect I like every day) I'm getting this!
8. Victoria's Secret body spray/mist ($14)
I've heard so much about these through the years and again, it's way too expensive to order them online. I can't wait to get my hands on these and smell them because people often have been raving about VS scents!
9. Revlon lip butters (± $6)
Again, I've heard so much about these! On my wish list are definitely Candy Apple and Pink Lemonade... I won't buy too many of them because a lot have shimmer (according to the Internet) and I don't really like shimmer in a lip butter/lipstick.
10. Maybelline Superstay concealer ($6,49)
I've been using my Catrice concealer palette for the past two years now, but actually it only works the first two hours, after that the concealer just simply disappears from my face. Just like that. A lot of people say that this Superstay concealer from Maybelline is very good, so I'm picking it up!
11. Chanel Vitalumière Aqua foundation (± $45)
I've had my eye on this foundation for more than two years and I think I'm finally going to get it. I'm actually doubting whether I should buy this one or a Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer. I need something that gives coverage when needed and it must even out my skin tone. I think the Chanel Vitalumière Aqua foundation is great (I've read a lot of reviews online) but a tinted moiturizer also sounds great to me. I don't know!
12. Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer (± $42)
Like I've said above, I'm still doubting whether to get this one or Chanel's Vitalumière Aqua foundation. If there are people having experience with one of those or both, please share in the comments! I definitely won't be picking up both of them, unless it starts to rain money of course...
13. Lady Speed Stick (± $2)
I really like Rexona deodorants and I'm not planning to change them for something else... till I heard of these deodorants. A lot of people say that they are amazing and do a great job! I'm very curious and for a price like that I'll be taking them with me.
14. Tresemmé heat protectant spray (± $4)
I'm in need of a heat protectant spray and again, thanks to the Internet, I've read great things about this one. I love curling my hair, so I hope this one will protect my hair well.
15. ELF blush ($3)
I love blushes especially in winter, because when it's cold the blood tends to withdraw from your cheeks (haha this sounds strange but it's actually because your body doesn't want to lose body heat) so a natural looking blush is pretty much welcome! They're only $3 and they're great according to reviews of other people.
I hope you've enjoyed this post! Let me know if you recommend something or when you have any suggestions. They're much appreciated ☺ also when they're food, places, etc... Have a great day! xx
